Here at the University of Peru we take pride in our high standards of academic achievement and our reputation for research excellence.  To maintain these standards there are a number of principles that we expect all students and faculty members to adhere to as well as a code of practice for the university itself.  The university is regulated by the Board of Governors and will aim to achieve and uphold the following principles at all times:

  • The University of Peru will always aim to provide the highest possible standard of courses and education to its students
  • The University of Peru will provide a safe and harmonious environment for its students and faculty members to pursue their academic and personal goals
  • The University of Peru will seek at all times to build and maintain close ties with the neighbouring communities, businesses and institutions
  • The University of Peru will be financially and ethically responsible and its actions will be transparent and open to scrutiny by all

Students and faculty members also have a code of practice that they are expected to follow both on and off campus:

  • Students and faculty members will be treated with dignity and respect at all times regardless of race, gender, background or sexuality
  • The staff and faculty members at the University of Peru will always strive to provide the highest possible standard of services to enable our students to achieve their academic and personal goals
  • Students and faculty members should at all times be aware of their impact on the environment and seek to minimize their impact on it
